Key components of the role include:
- Food Safety - Ensuring all Food Safety records and processes meet the requirements of our Food Control Plan. Where discrepancies occur, you are responsible for undertaking the appropriate Corrective Actions with Department team leaders, which may include retraining of staff.
- Health & Safety - Increase effectiveness of Health & Safety systems throughout the store. This includes investigating accidents, undertaking hazard reviews, and working with the Health and Safety Working Group and Management Team to continually develop a 'Safety' culture.
- Prepare for and take part in internal (Foodstuffs) and external Food Safety/Health & Safety audits, ensuring satisfactory outcomes.
