What does a Support Worker do? | He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko
Our support workers assist people who access our services to live as independently as possible, in their own homes. Support workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 cover with responsibilities including aiding with personal care, community outings and integration, and other aspects of daily living.

Responsibilities will also include support:
- In the morning to get up and get in and out of wheelchair for the day.
- At lunch and dinner time.
- Getting ready for bed and ensuring safety.

Who are we looking for? | Ko wai ta tatou e rapu ana
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.
- Prior experience supporting others with aspects of daily living, preferably those living with intellectual or physical disabilities.
- Full driver's license and confidence to safely transport passengers in our disability vans (training provided)
