We’re seeking a number of Technical Business Analysts to join our Knowledge Management team on a fixed term basis (starting ASAP for 18 months). You'll play a key role in supporting transformation projects to improve organisational efficiency.

Lakes District Council is at the very heart of a dynamic community. Our services are essential to the people in our region and include infrastructure development, community recreational facilities and planning, building and other regulatory services.

We’re proud to be QLDC, and in response to the growth the district has experienced over recent years, QLDC has itself experienced substantial growth. We genuinely believe in developing our people and providing them with all the tools and opportunities needed to succeed.

About the role:
You will play a key role in supporting transformation projects and improve organisational efficiency. Acting as a bridge between Business Improvement Specialists and the Business Systems team, you will analyse processes, research and implement technical solutions, and provide expertise in system planning, testing, and support—particularly for the TechnologyOne enterprise suite.

Responsibilities of the role:
  • Leading business analysis and project delivery, from scoping requirements to implementing and testing business systems and processes.
  • Designing and implementing organisation-wide business processes, ensuring statutory compliance and efficiency improvements.
  • Identifying opportunities for system and process improvements, ensuring solutions are well- documented and reusable.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a key liaison between Council and technology providers.

What you'll bring:
You will be an experienced IT professional with 10+ years in information systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage change and complex challenges. You will have exceptional time management, organisation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a strategic mindset to drive future development. Previous experience working with TechnologyOne is highly advantageous.

To best succeed in this role, you’ll have:
  • Tertiary Qualification, preferably in information systems or business studies, or extensive and comparable relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in process and system development and improvement.

To apply, please follow the link or for any questions please contact Tim Miller, Business Projects Manager on [email protected]

Applications close: Wednesday 26th March
